Shelby was a sweet 12-year-old Golden girl from Michigan, USA. Shelby sadly passed away before I could finish her portrait, so it became her tribute portrait instead. Shelby’s owner received her portrait as a surprise gift and was very happy with it. I hope it gave Shelby’s owner some comfort in the wake of her loss. Drawn with Luminance and Polychromos pencils on Strathmore Bristol vellum paper.
