Maple the Beagle

Realistic pastel portrait, 9.5 x 12" (A4).

Maple is a lively and mischievous – her nickname is in fact “Monster”! 🙂 – beagle who lives in Germany. Her owner requested something very simple and minimalistic so we decided to leave the background blank. I drew Maple’s portrait with soft pastels and pastel pencils on a lovely warm brown Pastelmat board, which really compliments her colors.
