Buttercup the Siamese Cat

Pastel sketch, 9.5 x 12" (A4).

Buttercup was an exceptionally beautiful cream colored cat with striking blue eyes. After she unfortunately passed away prematurely, her owner wanted her commemorated in a portrait together with her namesake flowers and her favourite toy. I painted her portrait with soft pastels on a maize colored Pastelmat board.
