Abby the English Setter

Abby is the dog a good friend and ex-colleague of mine who lives in Germany. In fact, Abby and my dog Nashi were best friends until we moved to Iceland. Abby is the sweetest and kindest dog, you can tell it by just looking into her eyes. I drew her realistic portrait with Luminance and Polychromos pencils on an anthracite Pastelmat board. I also used soft pastels for the “misty” background.
