Dexter the Smiling Mutt

Dexter is an incredibly cute and happy dog from the UK. Now I have no idea what his breed might be – a terrier mix perhaps? – but his portrait is one of my all time favorites. The picture of him smiling brightly in that flower field just lights up my mood! Painted with soft pastels and pastel pencils on a grey Hahnemühle velour sheet.
