Diesel the Frenchie

Diesel the “Two-Wheeled Dawg” is an adorable French bulldog, who was rescued by a lovely family after becoming paralyzed. He zooms around on his two wheels and is probably the happiest dog on the planet. I discovered Diesel’s account on Instagram and instantly fell in love with him and his pure, bubbling joy for life. I gifted this portrait to his family and they were over the moon! Diesel’s portrait really kindled my love for pastels and they soon became my favourite medium. Drawn with soft pastels on Hahnemühle velour.
