Lucie the Newfie

Lucie is a sweet and fluffy Newfoundland dog living in Maryland, USA. Lucie’s owner commissioned her pastel portrait alongside the colored pencil portraits of her siblings, Hunter and Rosie. The white thing on her face is of course slobber – that is her specialty and only makes her extra adorable in my opinion! I painted Lucie’s portrait with soft pastels on an anthracite Pastelmat board.
