Forrest the German Shepherd

Forrest was a much loved German Shepherd with straight leg syndrome. He unfortunately crossed the rainbow bridge at a young age due to his condition. His sketch was gifted to the family as a memorial portrait. My client requested a surprise background and decided to draw a nice wildflower meadow, which I think he would’ve liked. Painted with soft pastels and pastel pencils on a white Hahnemühle velour sheet.
